I live in North Carolina and recently planted black beans sometimes called turtle beans.  I know they can be dried or canned but I would like to know if they are picked before they are matured for drying, can they be frozen.  If they can, what is the process?  I have grown pintos in the past and picked them while green and the were delicious frozen.
