We have received several calls about a tomato pest that enters the tomatos usually near the stem leaving round black holes. It feeds inside the fruit and starts before the fruit is ripe. I isolated one in my garden this morning and did some research. It is the tomato fruitworm related closely to the one that loves corn so much. This one was pale green with reddish longitudinal stripes about 1and1/2 inches long. Treatment is a spraying with BT about once a week while the vines are fruiting. Judy Curtis MG
