85020 marriportia at yahoo.com Hi, I have a large fig tree that fruits 2x per year. How can I harvest ripe figs before the birds eat them? Also when I cut the figs open they often have insects inside. How can I prevent bugs from getting in the fruit without using a toxic insectacide? thanks
