The male mulberry tree is a heavy pollinator, and is potentially very
allergenic to the extent that all but the fruitless mulberries are banned in
most municipalities. If yours is a volunteer it is obviously not fruitless.
If it's a female, the understory will become very messy when the fruit drops
and the birds move in. I suggest getting rid of it.
