Queen palms are tropical plants that a like warm humid climate and are not
well adapted to our dry, breezy, colder desert climate. They will endure
most light freezes depending on the age and health of the trees. But many
were lost due to our freezes last winter which, although the freezes are
infrequent, they are still to be expected. I suspect your problems are due
to last winter's freezes.
