I have several plants by a window at work.  Two are very healthy and one was in bad shape before I transplanted it into a bigger ceramic planter.  I lifted it out of the drainage tray to water it and discovered a fungus growing in the drainage tray.  When I examined the plant the fungus was all over the rim of the planter.  

Is the plant done for?  Should I throw it out?  What is this yellow and grainy fungus?
