There are many plants that do well here.
Visit neighborhoods, parks, and local nurseries
to find plants that you would enjoy. Visit the
local botanical gardens and arboretums for ideas.
Check out garden tours in your area.
There are a number of excellent books -- check
the library or bookstore for Sunset Western Garden
Book, books by Mary Irish, books by Duffield & Jones,
books by Judy Mielke (natives), many others.
