What are the dangers of being exposed to the "Agave americana" species if there is alot of contact on personal skin.  Also, how does it compare to other agaves?  Is it extremely costic?  After working with it myself, I ctracted a rash which then led into masive blisters burning my skin down to subepidermal.(sick for a month) Curious as to your thoughts.
