[Arid_gardener] Pomegranate juice

Hi Jerry,
By far the easiest method for juicing a pomegranate is to cut it in halves
and juice it with a hand juicer, as you would a citrus, and then strain the
juice through a sieve or cheesecloth to remove any seeds and bits of
membrane.
The trick is to use a light hand to avoid crushing the seeds. Pomegranate
seeds are bitter and can impart an off taste if they're crushed in the
process. The juice-containing seed coating, or aril, crushes readily, so
even a light juicing will work well.

What do you suggest for extracting juice from pomegranates? Preferably
something I can do at home :-)
Thank you,
...jerry
