[Arid_gardener] mesquite tree

hello i was wondering if you  could help?? we have a beautiful mesquite tree in our yard ...very big ..last month they put the sewer line in on our street and when they went thru our yard they cut a large root on it and now its not looking so healthy like it was!!is there anything we can do to help it survive??? thank for your help
