Hello Domingo,
I have grown many Hibiscus in the valley and am quite familiar with
how they do or don't do.
First, did you have samples of the Hibiscus root examined under a
microscope to see if Texas Root Rot actually was the cause of death?
That is the only way to know for sure.
Are there other plants in the yard near the dead Hibiscus that are
also dying or starting to look bad?
I have found from my own experiences that Hibiscus death is usually
caused from lack of proper watering, too much water or too little,
sun burning in the hot summer sun or the plant freezing in winter.
Folks who read and answer questions on the Arid Gardener web site
will be better able to help you if we had a bit more information. If
you could give us answers to the following questions, we can focus in
on what might be the problem.
Where is the Hibiscus planted? Full sun, morning sun, shade all day,
afternoon sun?
How long has it been in the ground?
Is the plant on a drip system?
How often was the plant being watered?
What size is the dripper (in gallons per hour)?
How long was it on at each watering?
How often was the Hibiscus fed?
With what?
Was the Hibiscus near a lawn area?
Was a 'Weed and Feed' product used on the lawn?
Any weed killer used in the area of the Hibiscus? If yes, name of product used.
Any other plants in the yard having similar problems? If yes, what kind?
I know that's a lot of questions Domingo, but when you go to the
Doctor he/she asks questions to be able to help too.
A list of plants that will resist Texas Root Rot or can grow without
a problem where Root Rot is present can be found here;

Hope this helps.
