I haven't tried seeds but it is easy from soft tip cuttings if you have
access to somebody's vine.  Also, a one gallon plant is inexpensive and will
grow to a good sized vine in one season.  You can cut it off at ground level
around Thanksgiving Day and it will come back in the spring.  No need to
keep buying new plants.  grow in full sun to get the most flowers.
