There is a vegetable planting calendar for Maricopa County at
http://cals.arizona.edu/pubs/garden/az1005.pdf
The cool fall/winter crops are mainly leafy vegetables and roots. You are
about a month late for Tomatoes? Corn? Cucumbers? Bell Peppers? But you can
plant these in late February through March and again in late summer.
According to the Arizona Master Gardener Manual at
http://cals.arizona.edu/pubs/garden/mg/vegetable/regions46.html
The only vegetables you can still plant are in Region 5 at St. Johns at
5,730 feet.are garlic and onions for next summer's crop. As for hay crops,
try asking the Ag agent at the Apache County Extension office, see
contact directory at
http://ag.arizona.edu/extension/directory/counties/apache.html
