Bamboo will thrive here in warmer parts of the valley but be sure you plant the clumping variety. not the running variety that is invasive and can threaten an entire neighorhood.

Just plant a row along the area you want to privatize and shoot water and 21-0-0 deeply, at least two feet deep.

I would like to plant some bamboo or something tall along my fence to create a barrier and prevent objects from coming into my pool. Will bamboo thrive in the weather here? and is it easy to maintain?
