I live in Tucson, north of Catalina.  At the end of March, I cut back my bougainvillea (planted 1 year ago), and found green stems, but as of today, April 22, see no sign of new growth.  The plants are against the wall, which faces south (plants are on the north side, so in shade).  Is there still nope for them?  I have a similar situation with my red bird of
paradise, only they are in full sun.  Thanks!
