New to Phoenix and don't know what to plant in a 25' x 25' expanse of back yard that has mostly weeds.  I'd like a ground cover, perhaps Lantana,that would be native to this area--or some other low-growing plant that you would suggest.  Am I too late to try to grow such coverage this spring?  Thank you for any advice you have to offer.
