The cat claw vine, Macfadyena unguis-cati, needs exposure to full sun. I am
not sure what " I don't water it much " or "watering more regularly" means
but in general it needs very little water but has more lush foliage if
watered every week or two in the summer. I have never seen the need to
fertilize but a nitrogen-based fertilizer might help. Normally I would
prefer slow growth because after a few years the dead wood under the foliage
should be removed and it can be a nasty, dusty chore.
