I have two gardinia scrubs and want to know why they are not doing well. They seem to become very green and healthy but in the winter they get yellow and yellow spotted leaves. I have put egg shells around them and dug and replanted last year- supplying new soil and egg shells. They are still not healthy looking unless this is how they look in the winter.I had a few more but they died due to the lack of water. The drip system did not supply enough water.(?)
My neighbor said that they had blooms on them during the summer and it was a shame I missed them. The area is protected from bright sun but it does get cold in the winter. Is there anything else I can do? I do love the blooms, when they bloom. Alice
