[Arid_gardener] Termite Identification

Hello JoAnn;

You can take those insects you believe may be termites to the Master
Gardeners at the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension office (4341 E.
Broadway Rd in Phoenix). Collect as many of them as you can and put them
into a pill bottle so that they don't get crushed. Better yet, put some in a
tightly sealed jar with rubbing alcohol. Make notes of the time of day when
you see them, where you see them and the conditions surrounding the area
where you collected them (dark, damp, dry, etc.)When you get to the
Extension office, be sure to fill out the form with all of your contact
information.
