I am a novice in gardening and landscaping. I live in southwest phoenix. We have trees in place but I want to get the other aspects of my landscaping started. When is the best time to plant grass and shrubbery? I am not sure exactly what shrubbery I am going to plant. I am looking for plant that are ecofriendly, some edible would be cool too. I am concerned because we only have a single drip system. Do  you have any tips of watering shrubs and trees  on the same system. Thank You!!
