[Arid_gardener] When to trim purple ftn grass and regal mist deer grass

[Gus Nelson]

Both species of  grass have been in my landscape for 1 year come Feb 1st,,
When is the correct time to trim them down to the ground? Now ? Or after all
chance of frost ?
