I have used white vinegar on spurge (sp?) and it has not killed it.

Can you suggest another option that is non toxic to cats?

I have a humungous fly problem and am currently using a UV light (zapper) that is only killing moths and night fliers, but hasn't attracted the flies that come from the waste treatment plant and the farms.

Vector control says I just have to "deal with it" but the flies are eating all of my flowering plants.
