A friend of mine wants to plant a small tree in his back yard. The back yard is grass. Unfortunately in about the same place he has a 360 sprinkler head and he won't take no for an answer about planting a tree there. Would a Texas Mountain Laurel or a Monk's Pepper Tree have problems with water continually hitting the trunk? If so is there anything that can be done to prevent the damage?
