I use to have redworms in my compost but I let them dry out when I was on vacation and they have not revived.  I was wondering if the worms you can buy for fishing is the same and will live in my compost pile.  I know earthworms are hardier and will live in the garden but I was wanting something in my compost without having to spend the expense of ordering redworms.  Any advice?
