Some years ago I removed a stand of oleanders from my backyard. I cut the fronds down to about a foot or so above the ground level. Then every night after dinner I walked out and snipped off any greenery that had appeared. In a few months I simply lifted the plants out. They had starved to death. Marge Sykes
