Two related questions:
I have a grey water (sink and shower only) line buried about 18" underground.  I want to use its discharge to water a tree. 

Question #1:  how do I screen the open end of the pipe to prevent roots from growing into it?
Question # 2:  Can you give me a recommendation for the best type of tree to plant (I want it to be productive of some sort of fruit or nut)?  I am located near a wash leading to the San Pedro River at 2600 feet.
