In November 2007 we planted several 5 gal. ruellia brittonia and Rio Bravo Texas Sage bushes. They have a Western exposure and that's why we wanted heat and drought tolerant plants. We have been watering them (drip system) 3 times a week for 30 min. each time. Everyday I look at the Ruellia Brittonia the leaves are turning yellow and I have to remove them. At first it was just a few but now it's more and more and more.
My question is: am I watering too much now that the summer is here or am I not watering enough? I would appreciate any information. Thanks very much.
