I work with the Arizona Ecumenical Council and am putting together the monthly Earth Care Commission Newsletter that will focus on gardening, specifically church gardens.  I'd like to include some suggestions that will enable churches to care for their gardens in an environmentally friendly way. I'm just looking for general tips as to how that might be accomplished.  Many churches are switching to low-water use plants, but others prefer to maintain a more traditional look.  Any tips that might cover the entire spectrum?
