The Western Growers Association is working to develop funding to put a
garden in every school in Arizona.

Quarterly they are making $1,500 grants to schools that apply for support.

They are giving funding to a school in each legislative district so call
your legislator and ask that s/he forward the name of your school on to
Western Growers for support.

If your legislator has already selected another school, then you can apply
directly for funding. See the WGA website for more information.

http://www.wga.com/GardenProgram/index.htm

The garden must have a food and nutrition component (vegetables, fruits, nuts)

Grants include $1,500; Irrigation Kit; Seeds; and possibly training and
materials.

Good Luck!

Lucy
