Background and Interests
 
Carol Soderlund received a Ph.D. in computer Science from New Mexico State University. She also has a Master's degree in Systems Science from Louisiana Sate University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Michigan State University.  Her research interests include software for physical mapping, comparative genomics and host-pathogen interactions.  Dr. Soderlund is currently the head of AGCoL (Arizona Genomics Computational Laboratory).
