School of Plant Sciences at the University of Arizona offers M.S.
and Ph.D. degrees in two graduate programs: Plant Sciences,
including plant genomics, genetics, development, systematics, horticulture,
controlled environment agriculture, and crop sciences; and Plant
Pathology and Microbiology, including the genomic,
epidemiological, ecological, and evolutionary aspects of microbes
and their interactions with plants. |

Students in both programs are part of the School of Plant
Sciences and can be affiliated with faculty in any of our three
areas of focus: Plant Biology; Horticulture and Crop Sciences;
Plant Pathology and Microbiology.
Recognizing
that science is a cooperative enterprise, the School of Plant
Sciences works to create a sense of community, cooperation, and
caring among students and between students, faculty and staff.
This is facilitated through participation in seminars, colloquia,
field days, and special social functions. Our students benefit
