Imagine Science

Imagine Science was held in collaboration with the Girl Scouts of Arizona. Girl scouts and their families were invited to this event to learn about science, engineering, and technology in the hope that more girls will be inspired to pursue science/information/technology careers.

Booth Title: Pollen: Nothing to Sneeze At!

Short description of the booth: We had activities on microscopes, worksheets, and displays to demonstrate the importance of pollen in our lives, ranging from seed formation to forensic palynology. We also prepared a short activity to give insight on how we frame research questions, design experiments, and arrive at conclusions.
