ISC Summer camp 2012

Event: The summer camp was developed by the Computer Vision Group (led by Dr. Kobus Barnard) and run with the help of the UA SISTA Department, and in collaboration with several science labs on campus. The camp was sponsored by NSF grant IIS-0747511, "CAREER: Learning models for object structure."

Place: University of Arizona

Time: June 2012

The Palanivelu lab was one of the labs that participated in this event. As part of this event, six middle school students visited the Palanivelu lab. At that time, Dr. Palanivelu gave an interactive lecture on plant pollination during which the students learnt how scientists rely on technology to solve problems.
