I taught this course in 2007 and 2008.
Course Description: Students taking this course will a.) attend one seminar/week (any one at the University of Arizona). and b.) discuss and critically evaluate research articles written by visiting seminar speakers.
MCB 181 - Introductory Biology course for UA science majors
I team taught this course with Dr. Rob Leonard in 2007 and Dr. Brian Larkins in 2008.
Course Description: Introduction to the cell and its properties, basic genetics, the immune system, recombinant DNA technology with illustrations from bacteria, plants, animals and humans. Honors section available for 4 units.
PL S 539 - Methods in Genomics and Cell Biology
I team taught this course with Dr. David Galbraith in 2007.
Course Description: In-depth, practical and theoretical analysis of novel, experimental methods that advance our understanding of modern biology.
