RTIP Scholarships

NEW John Goodman Scholarship-DEADLINE to apply is June 1

The Jockey Club John “Jack” Goodman Scholarship, in the amount of $3,000 to $5,000 per year, will be awarded annually to University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program students.

Application Deadlines

March 30 — Current RTIP students
June 30 — New students enrolling for the Fall Semester
Nov. 30 — New students enrolling for the Spring Semester

Eligibility

Current students — Minimum 2.5 GPA. Must also apply for the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences (CALS) scholarships to be eligible for RTIP scholarship awards.
New students — Acceptance to the UA, transcripts from high school or previous college/university, an essay about their goals in the industry must accompany the application.

Criteria for Award

Current students — Academic excellence and participation. Participation includes attending Speakers Series and other classes when a guest is presenting and you are not enrolled in the class that semester; assisting with the Symposium through student committees and organizational help such as mailings, etc.
New students — Quality of goals essay and academic excellence/potential.

Award Amount

Scholarship awards range from $2,000 - $5,000 per year.
