| TOP-AZ is a community-based program to help parents, schools, youth-serving agencies, and community leaders better support youth development. The TOP-AZ process includes a 140-item, self-report questionnaire for youth, that assesses a wide range of adolescent perceptions, behaviors and attitudes. This approach is informed by an ecological model of youth development, which assumes that a teen's growth is affected by various contexts, including family, school, peers and community. TOP-AZ is a program run by Dr. Sherry Betts of Arizona Cooperative Extension, Institute for Children, Youth and Families, at the University of Arizona. To contact Dr. Betts, please e-mail: | |
