Halloween Potluck 2009

'Bacon and Eggs' (Sylvia Ramirez, CALS Admin) and the 'Jester' (Jennifer Smith, Experiment Station) were the costume winners at this year's CALS Staff Council Halloween Potluck. Jennifer won for Best Costume, while Sylvia, who was also last year's winner, won for Best Use of Materials, with a photo of actor Kevin Bacon and yellow cloth 'egg yolk'. The potluck, held the day before Halloween in Forbes Lobby, was attended by about 40 ghosts er guests. Other creative costumes included a 'scary guy', a refugee from 'Hell's Kitchen', a butterfly of unknown species, a witch, and a rapper.

The last, Allison 'the Norton Rapper' Ewing of the Norton School, performed an 'educational rap' on why someone should choose to attend there. Along with a feast of food and desserts, staff and faculty enjoyed playing the game of 'Telephone,' trying to pass along a scary, tongue-twisting sentence without changing the words.
