"Your CALS Connection"

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Staff Council exists to facilitate communication between staff and administration regarding the role of classified staff. We enable staff to improve the quality of their work environment and elevate the morale and spirit of cooperation in CALS. These goals include but are not limited to:

✔ Developing policies for orientation and training opportunities for staff.

✔ Promoting and supporting staff mentoring and networking.

✔ Maintaining regular interaction with the dean, the Executive Council, and staff regarding staff issues.

✔ Promoting and supporting staff recognition activities.

✔ Supporting career progression through personal and professional development activities.

✔ Maintaining open lines of communication at all times.
