Reviews of Environmental Mechanics

From the publisher (American Geophysical Union)

Environmental Mechanics depicts the state of the science in relation to the soil-plant-atmosphere thermodynamic continuum. Inspired by the path breaking work of John Philip, scientists consider these major areas, and more:

* Fundamentals of water movement and solute transport in soils and other porous media. Analytic and numerical analyses of flow and transport processes in rigid and swelling systems.
* Analysis of transport processes in the lower atmosphere and in vegetation.
* New areas of research.

For scientists, researchers, and students of environmental mechanics, hydrology, soil physics, micrometerology, and ecology.
