Weeds
Desert or rock-covered landscapes are popular in Arizona because they are attractive,
require low maintenance, and conserve precious water. Weeds will invade established
desert or rock-covered landscapes and other non-turf landscape areas where irrigation
water is applied and in response to rainfall. Weeds will also be a problem where
the desert is disturbed in the process of home building or the installation
of a new landscape area.
This site provides information on the management and control of these
invasive weeds. It assumes the reader has some knowledge about plants.
