Precipitation Discussion

Walker Basin (S) Allotment's precipitation, like the surrounding areas, comes in two growing season periods as illustrated on the attached pages. The first period, January through May, provides moisture during the cool season species growing season. The second period, July through Septemberm supplies moisture for the warm season species. The last period of moisture occurs during both classes of species dormant season.
