  • E.coli impairments in the Blue River
  • E.coli impairments in the San Pedro River
  • Selenium in several streams
  • Mercury in fish
  • San Pedro River has high nitrate and bacteria levels
  • Soil erosion
  • Salt-cedar (tamarisk) invasion
Classes:

Two Graham County MWS classes were held in 2009 at Eastern Arizona Community College in Safford. The Gila Watershed Partnership will be hosting new MWS classes in the upcoming year, date and time TBD.
MWS will be partnering with the Coronado RC&D to develop educational opportunities related to ADEQ targeted grant projects along the San Pedro River.

Projects:
  • Installation of a rainwater harvesting system and a weather station to share water conservation practices
  • Participation in the Gila Watershed Group and Friends of the Frisco
