The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension provides educational programs, leadership and expertise to Yavapai County citizens by addressing important local issues and involving local citizens in the planning and delivery of programs that target identified needs.
Agriculture and Natural Resources and Animal Science programs teach Yavapai County citizens and producers to apply improved agricultural production methods and provide research-based information about rangelands, urban landscapes, noxious weeds, pest management, crop production, and livestock management. These programs involve all county residents to increase knowledge and reduce conflict related to natural resource conservation and management. Our primary goal is to maintain a healthy agricultural economy and sustainable landscapes in the context of conscientious land stewardship.
