Each year the Growing Awareness: Southwest Youth Gardening Conference honors individuals, gardens and public/private partnerships for their outstanding efforts in youth gardening in the Southwest.

Please take some time to review the awards and nominate your favorite garden, gardener, partner or JMG leader and group. You could be next on our list of Award Winners!

Awards will be presented at the "Growing Awareness Award Luncheon" beginning at 11:45 on Saturday, April 3, 2004. These awards are sponsored by the Junior Master Gardener and Master Gardener Programs.

Nominations are accepted for outstanding efforts and programs in the Southwestern states of Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas and Utah.
