Sustainable Livelihoods

The term 'sustainable development' is only one-half of the gestalt of sustainability, the other being 'sustainable livelihoods.' How people make a living, and how they sacrifice long-term intergenerational sustainability of natural resources to short-term profit, is the subject of these two articles.
