The Day I officially turned into a GEEK!!

Here is a little story about the day I officially turned into a computer geek! Refugio (who used to work in the Network Lab) and I went to lunch one summer day in June of 1995 at Grandma Tony's for hamburgers. This is a portion of how the conversation went:

Molly (to server): "I want the Hamburger lunch special."

Server: "OK"

Refugio: "I'll take the lunch special too. And I'd like my hamburger cooked well done."

Molly (to server): "What's the *default* way you cook the hamburgers?"

(Server looks at Molly confused)

Refugio (explaining to server): "You know, the normal way."

Now she understood what I said, once my fellow computer geek explained it to her.
