To view a VRML world, you will need a VRML Plugin installed on Netscape or Internet Explorer. If you use an older version of Netscape or an older VRML plugin, make sure to delete any old versions before installing a new one (e.g. Netscape Communicator comes with Cosmo Player 1.0 installed).
Use the Viewpoint List (bottom left buttons on your Cosmo Player dash-board) to explore the club, and click on the doors to open them. This club is still under construction and more rooms, bars, and interactivity pending.
The Virtual Club was created with Cosmo Worlds 2.0. This program allows you to build 3D worlds for the Internet, incorporating Java scripts, animation, and 3d effects on HTML pages.
The main advantage of VRML 2.0 over other Internet virtual reality interfaces (such as Quicktime), is a VRML file is relatively small and quick to download. The Club Baby Seals VRML file is almost 1MB, so depending on your system, this world may take a little while to download.
