Jordan Activities 2005-2006


 

Dr. Jim Field was the lead person on a conference held in Cairo, Egypt, May 13-15, 2006. The title of the conference was"Implementation of Anaerobicf Sewage Treatment in the Middle East with a focus on Jordan and Egypt: A low-cost, low-energy alternative . Fifty people were expected to attend, but this grew to 85 by the time the conference was held. Presentations were given by people from many countries. (pdf format)

Dr Jim Field, Associate Professor in Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona, traveled to Wageningen University to meet with Dr. Jules van Lier to discuss the implementation of UASB technology in Jordan.
