About 90% burroweed alive. Cholla and prickly pear cacti present. Lehmann lovegrass dominant grass, also find Bouteloua aristidoides, tanglehead, black grama, and threeawns: bush muhly and cottontop under larger mesquite. Large mesquite present in 1948 photo are currently present behind foreground mesquite. The current foreground mesquite appear to be very small plants in 1948 photo.
