November Volunteer Meeting

 Greetings,

                November is here and the temperatures are finally starting to drop.  Time to start thinking about what to plant, how to keep things warm on those cold winter nights and other helpful hints!

                Come join us for our November CEAC Volunteer Meeting.  It’s free and open to the general public

 

WHERE:                UA / Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) classroom

                                1951 E. Roger Rd, Tucson, AZ (NE corner of Campbell & Roger)

 

WHEN:                  11:30 – 12 noon: social

                                12 – 2:30pm: meeting; tours

 

TOPICS:                Round table discussion of passive-capture rainwater systems with a walking tour to the Pima County

                                Cooperative Extension office to see their system.

                                Round table discussion of passive solar heating systems to keep your garden, patio, greenhouse warm

                                on those cold nights!

                                What YOU should be planting for the late Fall, Winter & early Spring.
